DENVER, COLORADO, May 11, 2017 – Colorado-based Ambary Gardens, maker of high-demand cannabidiol (CBD) consumer products, has joined forces with Precision CBD, a marketing and IT services firm, to expand new CBD product development using healthcare artificial intelligence.
Ambary Gardens currently sells non-psychoactive CBD isolate, salves, lip balm, soaks, sprays, tinctures, and water, both online and in selected stores. In development are new consumer products that are designed to compete directly with products that are commonly found in drug stores, grocery stores, and convenience stores. These established products are purchased for the same health benefits as those sought by CBD product buyers. Of greatest interest are those products heavily advertised in mass media, so that Ambary Gardens can align itself with customer expectations and still identify opportunities for disruptive innovation.
Precision CBD has developed a proprietary method for using artificial intelligence (AI) to expand and market CBD and herbal product lines.
The methodology centers around training an AI platform using a team of subject matter experts to review a collection of key documents curated by Precision CBD and encode them with machine-readable annotations based on the market insights desired. The initial materials for the new study include all documentation for Ambary Gardens’ seed-to-shelf operations related to all its products, peer-reviewed studies, legislation, contracts, sample customer comments, industry reports, selected patent applications, news articles, and other consumer and competitor product data.
Following Colorado statutory guidelines for research, the Precision CBD review team includes an epidemiologist with expertise in designing and conducting large, observational studies and clinical trials; a clinician with expertise in designing and conducting clinical trials; a clinician familiar with the prescription, dosage, and administration of CBD under current state laws; a medical toxicologist; a neurologist; a pediatrician; a psychiatrist; a specialist in adult medicine; a preventive medicine specialist; a public health professional; a substance abuse specialist; an alternative medicine specialist; a person who represents patient and self-care consumer interests; and persons with clinical expertise in the use of each of the Ambary Gardens products under development.
The annotated documents are used to train the AI platform to mine large data sets, digital content, live and archived interactions, and other materials in order to help develop insights and new ideas about intellectual property, product life-cycle management (PLM), enterprise resource planning (ERP), and advocacy.
